Office excursion construction site – from renovation to modular construction – September 2023
Spontaneously, the office of KOPPELHUBER² und Partner packed the construction site appointments as well as the invitation of b_solution GmbH, a company of Binderholz GmbH, into an office outing.
The first stop was the BORG-Radstadt, which is still under construction, an exemplary project on the subject of renovation and expansion of an educational institution using sustainable resources. KOPPELHUBER² und Partner was responsible for the tendering of the timber construction and could thus contribute to a – from our point of view – successful project.
The next stop was b_solution GmbH, which is located in the factory premises of Binderholz GmbH in Hallein. After a short presentation in the representative office building in timber construction, with a high proportion of visible wood surface, we were also allowed to marvel at the production line of the prefabricated element parts.
We continued to the center of Salzburg, to the project “Am Hirschengrün”, an exciting project – also due to its history and location. In the different structures, we can watch the concreting works, the moving of the wooden solid walls and the different finishing trades. For the renovation and extension of the hotel as well as the new construction of the apartments, KOPPELHUBER² und Partner was commissioned with the tendering of all trades. In lively cooperation with the client and all project participants, an inner-city showcase project in timber construction was thus realized.
After enjoying the view of the castle from the attic for quite a while, we ended the day full of exciting and motivating impressions in the nearby beer garden.
